Rainbows
Rainbows is a non-profit making International Organisation for grieving children, adolescents and adults experiencing death, divorce or other painful transition in their families. In our school, Rainbows is offered to children who fall into any of the above categories. It is run over a 14 week period. Rainbows takes place out of school hours. In Loreto, the programme is co-ordinated by Ms. Hogan and facilitated by Lorraine (SNA), Ms. Jermyn and Ms. Brennan. It allows children to discuss how they are feeling and it is conducted in a safe, structured environment in which the children feel accepted and valued.
